Sunday 22nd March: Sunny weather met everyone at the new venue of Welton Baptist Church in Radstock, where they found tea, coffee and bacon rolls. Fifteen riders then set out for a warm, sunny ride around the Somerset villages and returning for more tea, coffee and biscuits. No breakdowns or major wrong turns.

(Editor’s note:  no major breakdowns on the run but one DNS – inexplicably a previously extremely reliable Ariel 500 twin expired ascending Cheddar Gorge en route to the start and had to be nursed back home. The inquest will probably be quite lengthy!)
