DESCRIPTION:A run along the Somerset Coast (as much as possible\, 90 miles) to celebrate the anniversary of the 1924 ‘Round the Coast’ runs by Hugh Gibson and Marjorie Cottle on Raleigh motorcycles.  The aim is to ride to Lynmouth then follow a coastal route northwards to the Clifton Suspension Bridge. \nPhil Ham has prepared a route sheet\, attached here: Coast Run 2024 – V4 \nThere are possible alternative meet-up points for anyone not following the full route (in one go!) but the timings of arrival for these are necessarily approximate. \nMeet-up: Spaxton Village Hall\, 9:00am for 9:30am. \nLynmouth: 11:00am-11:15am (estimated) at the car/coach park by the East Lynn River\, at the junction with the A39 bridge. \nMinehead:  11:45am (estimated) at the sea-front clock tower (opposite the railway station) \nWeston-s-Mare: 2:15pm-2:45pm pm (estimated) at the bike park on the sea front (adjacent to the ‘big wheel’) \n  \n  \n
