Ariel works visit (July 2017)
A visit to Simon Saunders’ Ariel Factory at Crewkerne. Exceedingly interesting for those of us who are Ariel riders!
Simon Saunders is actually a bit of a ‘classic Ariel’ fan. One of the reasons he chose to revive the marque was because he shares the view that Ariel, over a very long history, tried to maintain a ‘quality product’ while always being open to venturing into new ways of doing things.
There is a small museum attached to the works (older exhibits include some Ariel bicycles), but a wander around the offices will also find machines from previous generations on display here and there!
